blaine day out at the twolves

after the scrimmages

we went to huberts for dinner

and then made our way back into the target center

to watch warmups

before making the climb to our seats WAY up top ;)

to get 500 seats all near each other

we took over one side from baseline to baseline

we started out in lower seats

but by the end of the night

were somewhere up near row Q i think?!

unfortunately for stacey ... it didn't get quieter the higher we went

AND well ...

he was sitting next to drew 

so that didn't help either

drew made sure everytime the howl meter came up

that he did his part

although the bucks kept making their free throws

and didn't win us any cherry berry

the timberwolves pulled out a win

ben takes the BIG court

the 8th graders were the last group to scrimmage

although they've done it in previous years

it's always been over thanksgiving break

so this is the first time ben has gotten to experience the fun 

he LOVED it

AND ...

his team won!!

on december 30th ben and alex got to take the MAIN court ...

each grade from blaine

go the opportunity to scrimmage during the afternoon

alex got to go first with the 5th graders

they warmed up

and then got announced one by one

by the timberwolves announcer

they looked so little out there

but it was probably the biggest moment of their season

ended up winning

what a fun experience for them!!
