finally a W!!

although we are over halfway through the season

drew's team has had a rough start

they play some great innings

but the not so great innings have caused them to lose every game

UNTIL TONIGHT

they got their first win

against the forest lake team

with a score of 14-7

way to go, bengals!

this month in baseball

drew on parade

today was the blaine blazin' 4th parade

and it was a little more exciting than every other year

because drew was in it!

some of the lions walked with the float

handed out popsicles

and mini footballs

and as they always do

had a lot of fun -

it isn't every day you get to be on the other side of the parade!

basketball camp + weight lifting + 8 baseball games + 3 on 3 basketball

all in one week ...

we're doing our best to make sure we all stay hydrated

over the past few weeks

we have gotten a TON of rain

and by a ton ...

i mean A TON

as in ...

we now own lakefront property

our trampoline is an island

and i'm considering building an ark

in the meantime

we decided to have a little fun

stacey went and borrowed a kayak

he paddled over to visit the neighbor's

the boys each took a turn

and it was quite the hit

it's not every day you can say you kayaked through you backyard
