my letter to the twins

dear twins,
today we went to miller park to cheer you on.



it was a BEAUTIFUL day to be at an outdoor park...



and we all came dressed in our 'finest' ...



UNFORTUNATELY ...
i am not too sure that any of you REALLY showed up ;)
i'm thinking you were being impersonated -
by some people who really did not know what they were doing.

your own mascot even gave up!!

THANKFULLY ...
a few brewers had your back today.
all it took was a few thrown balls,
and our boys had their spirits lifted.
they quickly forgot that we were losing -
FIVE TO ZERO!!!!

so ...
they left happy and you're safe for today.

but,
i suggest you get back in the game soon
because going to games like this
AND
having a crazy brewer fan for an uncle ...
they aren't going to let you get away with this for too long.

proof ...

that it's in the barnett gene ...

just a thought ...

marco polo is definitely a fun game.

however ...

played on a trampoline with a large tear in the net

well .. almost 2 hours :)
jen gets credit for staying for the turbo kick portion
and putting in more time than i did.

there is no better way to get in a good workout!!

was a busy time in our little neighborhood ...

now all 4 of our families are settled in our new neighborhood

our boys are all still together

as we watched the exciting storms develop,
or rather fizzle out, around us -
we played a round of the game whoonu

i thought it would be fun to take pictures of our cards -
and see if YOU could identify who they were chosen for.

if you're unfamiliar with the game -
it's basically a game where everyone has fun trying to guess each others favorite things.
you choose cards you think another would choose as their favorites -
that person places the cards chosen for them in order -
and that is what the following pictures are -
the red chip end is their favorite leading down to the yellow chip which is their least.
