the works

today i joined alex's class

on a field trip to the works musem

we had lunch together

spent WAY too long learning about building an instrument

before actually building it ;)

* feel free to insert all ADD jokes here *

we played with the bee-bot - programmable robot

it is my absolute FAVORITE part of the museum

and probably my most favorite toy ever :)

not sure what this says about me

or the career i should have gone into -

but this ranks right up there with the math room at the science museum!

the ugliest

it was ugly sweater day at school

drew is playing basketball for RMS again this year

this week his games officially started

unfortunately his team has yet to win a game

just like with ben ...

we are hoping for a great 2015! :)

READY FOR CHRISTMAS

finishing out 2014 ball

this weekend ben had a one day tournament

in brooklyn center

as we have every other weekend

we ended up playing all A teams

which is getting a little annoying

BUT

the boys played hard and had fun

we ended up losing all 3 games -

although the last one we were ahead until the VERY end :(

we are looking forward to a long break -

and hoping to start 2015 out strong!

catching up with the lees

tonight we had the chance to go to old spaghetti factory

and catch up with friends who we don't get to see often enough

the kids kept very busy

thanks to technology

and we got the chance to talk

and catch up on our busy lives

that are too far apart

of course we forgot to take any pictures of ourselves ...

guess we'll have to do it again soon!
