celebrating twelve

somehow

at some point

don pablos became a birthday tradition for ben

we don't eat there any other time of the year

just when it's time to celebrate ben

this year was no different -

we just celebrated the night after his birthday

so he and drew didn't have to miss church

final four * 2015

as we've done for the past few years

each of us filled out NCAA brackets -

no real prize - 

just bragging rights.

ben matched the most games

BUT

drew and i had wisconsin in the final game

SO that has to be worth something ;)

ben had kentucky which put him in a real tough spot -

whether to cheer for his bracket

or the team he REALLY wanted to win ;)

we watched the semi final while we were in wausau.

i think it's safe to say that when kentucky's undefeated season

came to an end we were all VERY excited.

unfortunately the finals didn't end with quite the same excitement -

BUT

it was still a fun ride

shake it off ...

this year we decided to try dying eggs a different way

we put rice and food coloring in cups

put an egg in

shook it up

and created some pretty cool looking eggs
