with a busy summer

full of camp, surgery, and a wedding

we were a little late in celebrating alex 'officially'

he wanted to celebrate with his friends at cheap skate

so we decided to end the first week of school with a birthday party

it was the perfect way to end the first week of school

first day of school * 2016

for what i think is the first time ever for us ...

it rained on the morning the of the first day of school

this made taking pictures a little tough

SO we waited until they got home

drew * 10th grade

end of summer fun

before sending the boys back to school

we decided to have one last night of summer fun

we started with a round of golf at como

ben won a free game the last time we golfed

and this time stacey and alex won!

from there we headed to rice park in st. paul

while at tavern the other night

the server told us it was a hot spot for catching pokemon

she was right!!

it was crazy ...

and SO fun

big brother

when stacey was 7 years old

he got paired up with a big brother from big brother/big sisters

31 years later they are still connected

and were lucky enough to have dinner and ice cream with them tonight

and are so blessed to still have them a part of our life
