a good start

we started out our last full day at hollywood studios

stacey and i grabbed coffee

and watched the march of the first order

while alex and ben rode single rider

on rock n rollercoaster

we did a little shopping

and then hopped on the great movie ride

before heading out

i didn't know this at the time

but i am really glad that we did

AND that i took pictures

 because we have since learned that this ride is being replaced

so this was the last time the boys were able to go on it

our next stop for the day was disney springs for lunch

we figured we would drive to make it quicker

to get to the car ben and i decided we thought walking would be faster

while stacey and alex opted for the boat ...

just for the record ...

we won ;)

d*luxe burger didn't disappoint ...

LOVE that place

i love walking around the new disney springs

and could easily spend an afternoon there

BUT

it was hot

and the pool was calling us

so we ate and ran

post storm fun * day three

the storms don't stop us ...

we just hope that they stop other people ;)

we started out our night at magic kingdom

stopped at epcot for late night hours at epcot

and then made our way to animal kingdom

for extra pandora magic hours

we knew that the next night was late night at the magic kingdom

and figured this would be our last chance to get on flight of passage

the wait was still about an hour

but when the queue looks like this ...

an hour goes by fast ;)

i'd take this over -20 any day

florida in the summer has some crazy weather

one minute the sky looks like this ... 

and 30 minutes later it looks like this ... 

every afternoon storms seem to pop up out of nowhere

and then just as quickly as they came in ...

they blow out

it is hot and humid ...

and i love it :)

checking out pandora by day

our main goal for the morning at animal kingdom

was to see pandora in the light

we have heard it is a completely different place at night vs the day

and they are right

the details are amazing

and pictures do it no justice -

but ...

here is our attempt

as we wrapped up

we noticed that kali river rapids was back up and running

so we took the back route thru harambe village

and got in line with everyone else

who had been waiting for it to reopen ...

not the fastest fastpass line we waited in all day

BUT ...

i didn't get completely soaked

so it didn't break down while i was under one of the waterfalls

so i consider it a success ;)
