you might remember back to my goal for each of my kids to have their own special day of the month ...
well, we've been doing that. and that means that today was ben's day!
so the rules were that he could choose anywhere to go ... ANYWHERE (movie, restaurant, etc) ... and who to go with.
so guess where he chose ...
he chose for he and i to go eat lunch at target. YUP .. target.
and what did he order? a hot dog and an icee.
we obviously need to get out more - to places OTHER than supertarget.
and apparently i also need to teach my kids that when someone offers to take you out on the town, it's quite ok to not choose the $2 hot dog meal at supertarget :)

You are the MOST fun mom ever! How neat to have a day of the month for each kid. I can't wait until the Lord blesses us with more kids so I can do that too!

I love this boy! Sarah, the object of this boy's date is you. He wants to be with you and doing what is already familiar to him. What a sweetheart!
How sweet! :-) Sounds like you guys had a great time together! What a wonderful way to have some one-on-one time with each kid...they need that time with their mom and dad!! :-)
