the countdown has begun

this weekend i flew to chicago
ALL ALONE!

it's hard to leave the boys.
BUT i did it!

it was fun to enjoy a few meals out

that were 'a bit' quieter than usual :)

and it was fun to just bum around chicago on a laid back schedule.

BUT the main reason for the trip was that
bekah (my sister) is getting married this fall
and we needed to go look at bridesmaid dresses.

along with my mom and 2 other friends we set out on a hunt.

at the first store we found a lot of no's



and not a lot of help.

SO ...
we moved on.

we went to the place that bekah got her dress.
we tried on LOTS of fun dresses
(and some that were more funny than fun
i would LOVE to show pictures.
BUT the whole no cameras rule made it tricky.
i could only steal a few important shots)

EVENTUALLY ...
we narrowed it down and chose a winner.

no giving away secrets.
so you'll have to wait until october to see the final choice.
sorry.

i WILL tell you that
the countdown has begun.
i have officially 7 months to develop some biceps and triceps.
