track and field - day 1

today was ben's track and field day



it was a morning full of running races -

the long jump ...

tug-o-war ...

and other fun events
like the softball throw, jump rope challenge, and my personal favorite -
the 'shoe kick' -
i'm fairly certain that's one event i actually had a chance at back in the day ;)

spending the morning at school was fun as always -
ben has made a lot of friends in his 2 years at johnsville!
sadly, today reminded me that in a few short weeks
we'll be saying goodbye :(

you did a GREAT job today, ben!

you rocked at all the events they had planned
AND ... just like drew,
you even rocked at those they didn't ;)

you make me so proud ;)
