today - with a cherry on top

there are SO many things i could say about today ...

i could talk about 'colin's pool'
a.k.a. lake owasso



and how much fun it was spending the afternoon with them

even chewy got in on the fun
because chloe invited him to come along
for their own 'puppy playdate'

or i could talk about how ben had another great night at football camp
and how fun it is to watch 2nd graders play shirts vs skins

and how i'm fairly certain the waterboy is STILL his favorite part

BUT ...
then i'd be missing the highlight of the day!
the part where
alex decided that today was the day he wanted to become
a 2 -wheeling machine!

he got himself geared up



put on the barnett kid concentration face ...

and let the fun begin ...

i can officially say that
as of right now he has joined the NO TRAINING WHEELS CLUB!!!

and he is SO proud ;)
he's still got some perfecting to do ...
BUT he did it!!

way to go, alex!!
