picture this

ok ...
i have no pictures from tonight so ...
picture this.

it's dark
the wind is blowing crazy
you see the light snow in the bright lights
and there are
6 little football players
sitting on the sidelines
wrapped in blankets
with only their helmets sticking out -
shivering
and
watching the rest of their team play an intense game.

tonight was ben's first, and last, playoff game -
we went all season with no losses
and then tonight we lost to the 8th seed.
absolutely no fun.

basically, i think it came down to the fact that
they were much bigger than we were
(5 red stripers to our 1)
and we just couldn't hold them.

OR MAYBE
it's that that it was just plain MISERABLE out
and that our kids just love us more
and didn't want us to have any more nights out in the cold ;)

whatever the reason ...
our bulldogs season is officially over

it was SO much fun while it lasted.
the boys played REALLY well
it was a fun team of kids AND parents
and they had a great winning streak

tough to go out like this
but we did get 1st place for the season

and it's hard to complain about that.

WAY TO GO BULLDOGS!
