this weekend brought temperatures we have been waiting for
temperatures to melt the snow
dry things up
and allow our kids the chance to get outside!
ben and brooks started things off by shoveling off the basketball court themselves ...
but from there the sun took over ;)
and it's worth noting that as soon as alex saw the sun he thought it seemed like shorts weather and there are some battles i just don't fight ;)
this led to LOTS of time at the park
LOTS of running around outside
and even some kickball
the weekend ended with 99% of the snow gone and the younger boys out enjoying the 'wetlands' that usually aren't so wet but offer LOTS of fun right now :)
all i know is that when alex came in, water POURED out of boots
he had fun
and HOPEFULLY somewhere in all that water
a few voles died ;)
because the damage to our yard this year is UNREAL
and well ... they deserve it;)
