over the river and through the woods

this weekend was stacey's weekend
to play golf in the member guest tournament with my brother

SO ...
we didn't see much of him
but found our own fun ;)

we walked to the store for doughnuts



i went wedding dress shopping with hannah
and won't be sharing any of the details ;)

the boys went to a woodchucks game
and i joined them for the fireworks

and the best part of the steamy weekend ...
cooling off at the pool



once again alex took a huge step
this time - literally



he jumped off the diving board which is twice as high as the board at our friend's
and into a much bigger pool.
he was a little hesitant at first
BUT
as expected -
as soon as he did it once
he did it over and over and over again

the boys were officially wiped out
which left the perfect opportunity for stacey and i to step away
and enjoy the final tournament dinner
stacey found out that he won pro shop credit for 2 of the holes he played in the tournament
and my dad won 2 of the big raffle prizes!

a busy weekend that we're all still recovering from -
BUT
next weekend marks the end of busy golf tournaments/lessons
AND
the end of baseball
so ...
there is an end in sight ;)
