this winter has proven to be a record breaking one
not only has it been colder than usual
BUT
that cold has led to school being cancelled FIVE times!!
drew is in 7th grade and until last year he had never had a snow day -
this week we just had our 4th and 5th 'cold days' of THIS MONTH!!
on monday and tuesday the windchills hovered in the -30 to -40 range
thankfully ...
the boys kept busy with
friends, xbox, sleepovers, and open gym
AND
stacey and i made good use of our january refillable mugs ;)
it's fun to have the boys home
and we've proven nothing will keep us from going to get coffee
BUT
it'd be nice if it got a little warmer from here on out
i'd like for them to be done with school before july 4th ...
maybe?
