one last shot

before heading to hawaii we had one last thing to do - 

alex's end of season tournament

going into the tournament we had only lost 1 game

by 1 point

we ended up losing to the same blaine team that we had already lost to

putting us in the 3rd place game

we played a great game

AND WON!!

way to go, mammoth

glad we got to celebrate you one last time!

ben ... the fbi's newest agent

ben and a few classmates

had to do a skit for their ELA class

ben was an fbi agent

and he did a fabulous job of looking the part

yet more proof that my house is run by 3 boys ...

not even the master bath shower is safe ...

my favorite 6th grade artist

mankato fun

one of our favorite weekends of basketball season

is our out of town tournament

we were in mankato again this year

all of the boys got to enjoy time with their friends

we had a few late nights

LOTS of treats

and lots of basketball

the perfect combination for a 

once a year event ;)

while 2 are away ...

the other 3 will play

but don't tell them ...

or they may never go for a sleepover again

our 'valentine tournament' continued on sunday

with a maroon team and then another red team ...

so fitting.

we started with an incredible game against irondale.

the last 2 times we have played them we have gotten beat pretty badly

BUT

this time we held them to 7 points!!

although we lost

we were still in the running for 3rd place

we played another stillwater team

it was another GREAT game

and another CLOSE game

we went from being ahead by 8

to down by 3

then by 1

then ...

with 6 seconds left

we got possession and scored!

for the first time this season

WE PLACED

and the boys were just a LITTLE excited

even more excited when they found out they got a t-shirt

instead of a trophy ;)

way to go, guys!
