my little list maker

after getting home from wisconsin

and having a week of christmas 'stuff'

i wanted to try to pick things up around the house a little

while we had the chance

i asked the boys for their help

when i came down to find this hanging on the microwave

i couldn't help but smile

and NOW ...

my little list maker

he had gone and cleaned each of their rooms

he had started the bathrooms

and

he had made a list for them to follow

i LOVE him.

a few days after christmas

we decided to go back to minnesota

we knew hannah's baby was coming

but weren't sure when it was going to happen

WELL ...

tuesday was the day

hannah was induced tuesday morning

and we left right away

although we had gotten hit with a snowstorm

the roads were pretty good

and we made good time

we were SO excited to meet baby adalyn

i went to the hospital first

where aiden and ellie got to meet their sister

i got a little fix

and then went and got my crew

as they were VERY excited to meet her also

i'm sure anyone looking out their window was glad we were going to visit hannah

the boys LOVED her

they loved holding her

and didn't want to give her up

yet somehow i still haven't convinced them that one of our own

would be a good idea ;)

before turning around and leaving the next day

we even got all of the cousins at the hospital

and got our first ever group of 9 picture

she's beautiful!

need a babysitter?

the first night that hannah and bobby were at the hospital

the boys and i stayed with aiden and ellie at their house

BUT first ...

we spent a while playing with bekah's boys at grandma's ...

at some point i heard ellie and joe laughing

and went upstairs to find them just hangin out on the top bunk ...

i made sure to send a picture to hannah

to let her know what a fine job of babysitting i was doing

then the next morning i sent this one ...

at some point during the night ellie had moved out into the hall

and none of us had any idea

babysitter of the year, right here folks.
