for the past 2 years
one of the things we have done with the boys on christmas eve
is to take them to target
give them a set amount
and have them buy gifts for each other
although alex thought drew would LOVE this storm trooper ...
we kept things under $10.
it is fun to see
what they actually pick
and
how excited they get about giving it
because of this excitement
we decided they could open them that afternoon
ben gave alex what he had hinted that he really wanted ...
drew thought ahead to our star wars night
and thought alex and ben might want shirts they could wear
BUT ...
then he saw this elf shirt for ben and his plans quickly changed
alex was excited when he saw glow in the dark stars
because he and ben had just been talking about putting some up
he decided 2 packs - or 100 stars - would be what ben would want
ben found a putting practice door stop for drew
and alex decided after our cookie decorating day
that drew would really like the ABC (already been chewed) cookie cutters -
he threw in some ninja bread men to complete the package
they finished the afternoon off by opening their new pajama pants
star wars and seahawks
