today was the day to celebrate alex ...



they had a program at school where the principal recognized each 'citizen of the month'

as you can see ...
alex wasn't overly thrilled about getting recognized ;)

BUT ...
he was WAY excited about his medal
in fact he wore it for the rest of the night -
even OVER his coat as we walked through target ;)

AND the fact that he got sherbet as a special treat
made him think he was a pretty cool kid ;)



he even got to celebrate with his friend who is in the other kindergarten class
and was ALSO a citizen of the month!

way to go, alex and oliver!
