keeping the tooth fairy busy

today brought us a trip to the oral surgeon.

ben has lots of teeth wanting to come in ...
with nowhere to go.
his baby teeth haven't fallen out
and even if they had ...
there's no room

SO ...
at the recommendation of our dentist and orthodontist
he had FOUR baby teeth pulled today!!!



he was SO brave!
it took less than 20 minutes.
he was a little out of it for a few hours afterwards
however ...
no good 'ben goes to the dentist' videos 
SORRY!!
but his pain has been minimal
and he's had few complaints.

by this afternoon
it was getting difficult for him to follow the doctor's orders to 'lay low'
and i'm guessing by tomorrow he'll be back to normal ...
minus four teeth

ALTHOUGH ...
if he gets his way
he will still have those teeth -
just in his pocket.

he left this letter for the tooth fairy tonight ...

and is hoping that because he had to get four teeth pulled
and because they are big and cool with all the roots
that she'll show him some sympathy.

i figure that she probably will ...
if she can just remember to come ;)
