sNOw more!

last night we got hit with ANOTHER round of snow

AND

it was enough for snow day number SIX for the boys!!

the news is saying our area got about 11 inches

which seems right

it's hard to be exact because it has been blowing

A LOT
so some areas have barely any snow

and then others have 3 foot drifts

it is very pretty

BUT

it is very wet heavy snow

so snow removal

wasn't an easy job

good thing i have a good crew

with all of the extreme cold we've had this winter

we haven't had any snow melting

so the snow banks are HUGE

where our driveway and sidewalk meet it is as tall as alex!

in our upstairs bathroom the snow is halfway up the window

it's pretty crazy

the boys tried to go sledding in the backyard

but even drew struggled to walk

so they didn't get far

for perspective i took this picture of our neighbors garbage can buried

YIKES!

it has been a beautiful winter

BUT

at this rate

i'm realizing that it may be june before i see grass again
