i started out this halloween like any other day
EXCEPT
i thought i might add a little flair to my outfit
well ...
within 30 minutes i changed paths
decided it would be fun to walk into the office
and starbucks
in full costume
i could always just take it off, right?!
it was so much fun.
i got a lot of looks
AND
a lot of smiles
which made it totally worth it!
before leaving home
our neighbor
who had lent me the costumes
told me i should take tigger and try to get someone to wear it
WELL ...
the person i found
OUR PRINCIPAL
didn't quite fit in the tigger costume -
so we switched
he did the kindergarten parade dressed as pooh
and the kids LOVED it!!
i spent the entire morning as tigger
and then decided to dress down a bit for the afternoon
not quite sure why no one would make eye contact with me at target ;)
fast forward to our night ...
it isn't often that halloween is on a friday
so the boys were SUPER excited
drew put together his own costume this year
and good will pulled through for us yet again
alex also created his costume -
he was a 'ninja'
and does not care about the difference between black and navy ;)
and ben was a blue basketball playing morph
alex decided to stick around the neighborhood
and trick or treat with jack and oliver
drew went with ryan and luke
cute theme, huh?!
and ben went with sam and jack
stacey and i stuck home and handed out candy for a bit
and found a PERFECT way to stay warm
even though it was only 40 degrees i felt perfect
walking with alex once it got dark
each of the boys got around 5 lbs of candy
and my ONLY complaint
is they didn't bring home ONE heath bar
seriously.
