this year on the lions
wraps up drew's run in youth football
of course we still have LOTS of football to watch
but to know the next step is high school football is CRAZY!
as the season progressed
drew realized more and more
that he was interested in playing center
he worked with stacey and ben
and even got the opportunity to fill in as center for a few plays
he was THRILLED
little did he know the REAL excitement would come in the championship game
once again it was the lions vs the bengals (aka the warriors)
the lions took an early lead.
as the 4th quarter progressed
the coaches decided to have a little fun
drew told them they should try him out at tight end.
they put him in
threw him a pass
he dove ...
AND HE CAUGHT IT!!!
he was 100% for pass completion
and had more yards for the season than our actual tight end.
he was just a LITTLE pumped :)
who knew?!
;)
the lions went on to win their 4th championship in a row!
way to go, lions!

it has been SO fun to watch your love for football grow
and to watch you grow as a player
i am SO excited for what lies ahead
keep giving all you have
keep your positive attitude
and you will continue to have fun
i have no doubt!
