this year the third graders added a field trip
which ranks up with the best field trips of all time
we got to go to target field
we ate some lunch
learned about where the twins got their start
saw the legends club
we saw lots of memorabilia that has been saved over the years
we did a short math lesson
where the kids found the perimeter of home plate
and measured their strike zone
we went on the field
and down in the dugout
we even got to see what the locker rooms look like
we ended with a visit to the champions club
we learned so many facts about target field that i didn't know!
i wish the tour would've lasted for another few hours!
i could've spent the entire afternoon exploring!
