after stacey got his job offer we decided it would be fun
to do something with the 2 weeks we had
before he starts back up
i was torn because drew is at camp
and i didn't want to do something 'too fun' without him
but this was the perfect time to do something
the weather in MN was not looking very nice
low 60s in late june is not nearly warm enough.
we have our disney annual passes
and hotels were reasonably cheap
so we figured ...
why not drive to florida
we waited until ben was finished with his tournament
dropped chewy off in wausau
and were on our way
the boys always do great
but i know a few times during the middle of the night
stacey and i wondered what we had gotten ourselves into ...
again :)
thankfully we have a few fun stops along the way
that help keep our focus
and 25 hours later
tired but very excited
we pulled into disney ...
i like to compare the trip to childbirth ...
you are super excited
yet when you are in the middle of it ...
it sucks
but you are quickly reminded of why you do what you do.
it may be a little bit before you commit to such craziness again ...
but you will
and you do
and it's worth it every. single. time.
