walking anywhere with alex takes a long time. you would think it is because he is just learning and his steps are wobbly.
BUT ... you are wrong.
it is because everywhere we go he has to stop and wave at any car that drives by - THEN continue on.
in fact ... if we are in the kitchen and he hears a car drive by he stops what he's doing, turns and faces the window, and waves!
