once again alex has shown us that he likes to do things the unconventional (and most expensive) way possible.
(see "money can buy happiness")
i tried and tried to get him to drink milk. i tried whole. i tried 2%. i tried it warm. i tried it cold.
nothing. he wanted no part of it.
well, when we were in wausau, ben happened to have some chocolate milk left and alex was a bit crabby.
so i poured it into his cup - figuring he wouldn't drink it anyway.

WELL...
he loved it.
AND ...
he has been drinking chocolate milk like crazy ever since.
yup. that's right.
my one year old is weaning to chocolate milk.
yet another chapter in the life of a 3rd child.
** and ... for the record ... i've tried to switch back to white milk AND i've tried making my own chocolate milk with hershey's syrup and he is not interested in substitutions. **
