i started something on the first of this year, called project 365.
(no i didn't come up with it ... creating keepsakes magazine and becky higgins are my motivation behind it)
i am going to take a picture each day this year.
(or at least try.)
the picture might be of the kids.
it might be of stacey and i.
it might be a picture of a store we visit that day.
basically i want to capture snipits of our life that when placed together tell a bit more about who we are and what we do on an every day basis - without too many words.
NOW ...
initially, i was just going to organize the pictures on my computer ... and then maybe scrapbook them.
well...
i decided that it might be easier to keep track of ... and transfer to a book ... if i created a blog for it.
SO ... that's what i did.

i realize that you already have plenty to do in your day ...
so i'm not asking you to follow yet another silly blog of mine :)

Bought the Becky Higgins sketch book. Love it. Did some layouts yesterday too. I checked out the project 365 too. such a cool idea. Definately trying to take more random everyday pics. Not just the big moments. Oh, we need 1 more for scrapbooking. Do you know anyone so we could be a table of 4?. don't want any crazy ladies sitting next to us like the time we went with Julie.
great idea! i think i will try it but start on gerrit's bday. i think it would be fun to take a pic of gerrit each day and then give it to the grandparents as a gift in a little album. i don't think i can keep up 2 blogs like you and eliza so i will try and keep a file. we shall see. i have til april to start...lovin the idea though!
one more ? -- did becky higgins come out with a new mag? or was it in creating keepsakes?
ok .. i was going to link to it and it didn't work ... i found it on her website. but i believe it is in the january creating keepsakes as well. i'll add a link with some good ideas to the bottom of my post. also .. there is a kit you can buy that would make it really easy to put an album together. you can find that on becky higgins site too.
Saw this in the magazine and said "what a great idea" I know its not possible with my life but it has made me think I should TRY to take more everyday pics. Good for you. It'll be nice to watch!
