happy birthday party day!

yesterday was FINALLY alex's BIG day!!
although his actual birthday was monday
he was SURE that his REAL birthday wasn't until the day of his party!

SO ...
we counted down the days ...
saturday FINALLY came ...
and we spent the afternoon celebrating alex being 4!!

we started off by getting him a crazy haircut ...



finding some fun friends ...

packing up the crazies he has no choice but to spend time with ...

and heading to one of the most fun places we know!



grandma wendy, grandpa larry, and aiden even made the drive to come play!!
grandma was just smart enough to not get into the pit ;)

we spent a whole hour JUST playing!

jumping into the foam pit ...
bouncing on the tramps ...
bouncing in the bouncy house ...
all PERFECT things for a bunch of 4 year olds!
well ... MOSTLY 4 year olds ;)

we finished up with some singing ...

some wish making ...

and some sweet treats.



we opened presents ...
and apparently had just a little TOO much fun **
