makin our way downtown

this morning we decided to have a little fun at the children's museum



it's been a little while since we've been there
SO there were TWO new exhibits for us to see!!



this is the balancing act exhibit which was perfect
for 3 boys that like to climb ;)

we also made our way through our old favorites -

the construction area ...

the paper making area ...
we forgot our creations again ;)
shhhh

and the rooftop ...

where we spent a lot of time
because it was such a beautiful day!

we decorated the rocks ...



the boys climbed up the wood
while playing i-spy ...



and
ben put himself in jail
and then apparently tried to eat his way out?!

our day was complete with
just a little BIG FUN ...

and a walk to candyland and the farmers market
YUM! i secretly would LOVE my own garden -
i just don't want to have to take care of it ;)

another fun day
another quiet ride home
and
another thing crossed off our list of things to do

it's hard to believe it's july
and we've already blown through 1/3 of our summer!!
