one of the best parts about being at disney
is having interactions with the characters

although they don't ALWAYS go as expected

most of the time the kids get really excited about meeting them
and getting autographs

drew and ben both have autograph books that are nearly full
but this was the first time that alex was really excited about autographs
so we got him a new book
and let him do his thing

the character meals are always the best time to get them
because then you get that one on one interaction
without waiting in line

BUT
some of the characters weren't at meals that we went to
OR
we happened upon them and alex couldn't resist

in peter pan's case, the line wasn't very long
and after going on his ride
alex was excited to meet him
honestly ...
i don't think he's even seen the movie :/

 

but the next few characters were ones that he was SO excited about
that we hunted them down

buzz lightyear

 

chip and dale

  

daisy

 

and ...
the highlight of this trip
phinneas and ferb!

we did have to wait in line
but we timed it right
and
in the end it was totally worth it!
