one of the things that the boys wanted to do while in hawaii this year
was to snorkel
WELL ...
the wind made that a bit tricky
finally we decided with only a few days left we needed to just rent the gear
and give it a try
our first try was at kapalua bay
my dad came along
and tried to help the boys get going
they were SUPER excited to get going
BUT
getting their flippers on took a little more work than they expected
drew was the first one to get going
but it didn't take long for the others to follow
unfortunately the water was just a little rough for alex
so even after getting some help from grandpa
he decided swimming without the flippers was more fun
ben caught on quickly
so he and drew went out for a while
they didn't last too long
but they definitely outlasted their dad
