hand picked fun

today i went with the kindergarteners to the apple orchard



although it was a LONG drive
the weather was BEAUTIFUL
hard to believe that a few of the kids actually got sunburnt IN OCTOBER
and it was fun for the kids to be able to pick their own apples and pumpkins



ALTHOUGH ...
after looking through all the bad apples
for 3 good apples ...
i decided there is a reason i buy apples at target
;)

the kids LOVED the big tire pile



and the playground

i followed alex and his friends around
and was - of course - more than happy
when alex stopped every few minutes and said
'hey take my picture, mom!'



he played so hard
he even asked if he could ride home with me
instead of taking the bus -
just so that he could sleep ;)

i loved spending the day with you, alex
