jaunting

friday brought the ...

this year was hard because i had THREE kids walking in THREE classes
and i wanted to be with ... ALL THREE!

because they were slightly staggered
i was able to work it to walk a little with each

i started out with alex's class

i figured it was their first year
and i knew alex would want me there

so he and i walked the first mile

and then i met up with ben's class

although i was only with ben's class for a short time
(it was alex's first year and drew's last year ...
so i told ben i'd have lunch with him and then walk with him the shortest time)
it was long enough to talk to his friends
grab a few pictures



and then head out for the final mile with drew's class



he has such a fun group of kids in his class this year
this also makes for a fun group of parents
so walking with them was great!

they laughed pretty much the entire way



and you'll notice they tried using a 9 month 'chic magnet'
but it didn't work quite as well as they hoped ;)

considering how windy thursday was ...
we had GORGEOUS weather.
i got a little exercise
and
i got to spend time with my 3 favorite people.

it was a perfect kick off to the weekend!
