one hundred

yesterday alex's class celebrated the 100th day of school

their job was to dress up as a 100 year old

we did some searching
and came up with what turned out to be a very cute old man



gray hair and all

 

lucky for me it was my day to volunteer
so i got to check in on him throughout the day
and share in a little of the fun!

 

one of my favorite things was the posters his class made
i loved alex's

 

gives you a glimpse into our life ...
and we aren't even close to 100!!

i had lunch with some of the old men

they got to have a special snack

yes ...

i am the one of THOSE parents

that lets their kid bring mountain dew

when they're allowed to bring a 'special drink'

i hope mrs 0bama doesn't read my blog ;)

they had a fun day
doing lots of 100 things

 

 

and now tomorrow they get to celebrate all over again
with an all day valentines celebration!
