today was stacey's last day with target and it met me with mixed emotions. (him probably more so ... but once again this is my blog ... te he he) the past 2 years have been very stressful for him. it was a terribly negative environment. for those reasons i'm SO glad. glad to see it end. i'm also nervous. nervous for him because starting a new job is never easy. i'm excited. excited at the new possibilities that medtronic has to offer. hopefully it proves to be a place where stacey can really utilize all that he's learned and really shine :) he will be SO much closer to home and more accessible to drew's school. and i love that. PLUS ... drew's excited at the thought of daddy as a lunch date:) medtronic seems to be MUCH more relaxed and i think that will help stacey tremendously! all in all i think it's a good change and hopefully a few months down the road we can look back and see exactly why things happened the way that they did.
if you think of it - just say a little prayer that things go smoothly for him and that the transition proves to be all worth it.
and pray for me as i grieve my target discount. a pace maker discount just doesn't seem to hold the same value :)

Stacey-we do wish and pray that all will go well for you-I especially pray for patience and understanding as you move into a new system-I have so much confidence that you will do a good job, hopefully with less stress involved!
I dunno... if someone ever ends up needing a pacemaker, having that discount available might come in handy! Especially given the precarious health insurance situation :-)
