7B * state * 2016

this weekend was filled with some very close games for ben

our first game was against the zimmerman team

that we went into overtime with a few weeks ago.

we knew it would be a close game again

we were SO excited when we came out on top again

our next game was against eden prairie

and was much tougher

they had some really good shooters

we hung with them

but lost it in the end

losing put us into a saturday night game

against andover

ben had a special cheerleader at the game

it was another close, fun game

that we won!

we were on the 3rd place track

for both boys

which meant a LOT of games

thankfully ben was in rogers

and alex was in albertville

so we were able to catch some of both of their games

we had dinner on saturday night

before alex's game

and then we were back in rogers bright and early

we won the first game against owatonna

and then played red wing for our final game of the season

unfortunately we lost

BUT ... it was 2pm ... we had not packed,

still needed haircuts AND pedicures

and we needed to leave for the airport at 4am the next morning

SO ... after 9 games in 30 hours ... 

we were ready to move on to vacation

7B had a tough, but fun season

they played some of their best basketball at the state tournament

and it was SO fun to watch them compete in some close games
