as we have done each trip to we've taken to maui
we went on a whale watch with pacific whale foundation
unfortunately - in my opinion - something got switched on our reservation
and we had to take the catamaran instead of the small raft
it was a beautiful boat
and the fact that we could sit out on the nets was really fun
we saw a lot of different whales
watched a mom and baby for a while
and enjoyed what should have been a beautiful, calm day on the water ;)
the problem was that it was SO calm
our boat captain kept shutting the boat off for big chunks of time
so the boat went UP and DOWN and UP and DOWN
and it didn't take long before ben and i were both feeling not so hot
i was glad to be out there and hoping for some fun whales to watch
but i spent the 2nd half of our trip
more ready to get back to land
than any other trip we've taken
