for a few days in the middle of our trip
the wind picked up
it was still beautiful as ever
and i would take it over minnesota ANYDAY
BUT ... it did affect the waves and the surf
HOWEVER ...
the boys were REALLY wanting to go snorkeling
so we decided to go down by black rock and let them try it out
drew and alex went quite a ways out
they saw some stuff
but i think the surf was picking up
so they didn't see nearly as much as they've seen in the past
as we walked back
the waves were larger than i have ever seen on our side of the island
there were surfers, boogie boarders and skim boarders out
and i'm quite certain the boys would've been more successful
at any of those than snorkeling ;)
watching michigan state lose ...
my bracket was TOAST
ben didn't care ;)
windy or not ...
it was another GORGEOUS day
