this week has been amazing.
we have been blessed with constant sun
and surprisingly no afternoon storms!
it is hot ...
but we LOVE it!
for our last full day
we started out at hollywood studios
we rode a few rides
got some starbucks
watched some stormtroopers
and then decided to go on a lunch adventure
we took a bus to the wilderness lodge
to try out the new menu at roaring forks
it ended up taking FOREVER ...
sometimes the disney buses are fast
other times ...
not so much.
this was one of those times.
two hours later
and we were back at epcot.
one of the list on our 'things to do' this trip
was to see each of the world showcase movies -
canada, france, and china
so over the course of this week we have been knocking them off our list
my official review ...
canada was ok.
a little old, not super interesting -
maybe that's because i practically live there
france was cool.
pretty scenery, good music, interesting -
still don't have a ton of desire to visit there.
china was probably my favorite.
different landscapes, pretty, interesting ..
PLUS ...
shanghai disney is there.
glad we saw the movies ...
maybe will take the boys to see them ...
after that ...
i probably won't see them again ;)
i'd rather spend my time out searching snacks ...
and watching the voices of liberty
for our last night we decided to try a nicer restaurant at disney springs
we tossed around a few ideas
and ended on the boathouse
we were able to get in without a reservation
and they had a great table for us outside on the water
we had a great view of the amphicars
stacey's favorite part of the meal ...
my favorite part of the meal ...
on the menu there was only one vegetarian option
but i really enjoyed it
stacey opted for the filet mignon sliders
and loved them
the atmosphere was perfect
it's a place that although really nice
i am excited to bring the boys to
because i know they will also love it
we ended our night shopping around disney springs
listening to live music
and grabbing more of the fabulous ample hills creamery ice cream
YUM!
