be our guest

one of the restaurants that we have never visited as a family
is be our guest

i never really had much interest in the dinner menu
and standing in line for the quick service lunch didn't seem appealing either
BUT
now that a reservation for lunch is possible
and stacey and i were planning our trip a few months out
we decided to try it

what i most wanted to see was the restaurant itself

each room is done up as a different theme
and it was fun to walk around
and see all of the amazing detail put into the different dining rooms
before picking our seat

we ended up picking at a table by the 'window'

because we don't get enough snow in our lives ...

i guess it got us in the mood for what we were about to order.

we were both still pretty full from a late breakfast
but it worked out well
because what we most wanted to try was the soup
and the grey stuff

we tried the french onion soup

and the potato leek soup

the potato leek was my favorite ...
and i actually am excited to bring the boys back
just so i can get the soup again ;)

they will be most excited for the grey stuff

and yes ...
 it was delicious.
