different place ...
same beginning ...
we were up bright and early to head to camp.
we were greeted by the best staff member they have ...
and quickly found the boys
they were full of smiles
and stories.
normally we'd just head home
but we wanted to spend a little time with drew
so we had lunch in nissawa at big axe brewing
alex had the cream soda that looked like water -
funny how that plays with your brain!
we then made our way back to camp
because drew was competing in his first ever TRIATHLON!!
trout does 3 triathlons each summer
and this was the last of the three
he completed a 200m swim
a 6 mile bike
and a 3 mile run ...
with a friend
while he ran
stacey and alex spent some time out on the paddleboards
drew ...
i am SO proud of you for starting AND finishing the triathlon.
you are now an official member of the trout lake triathlon club
and from the sounds of it you have now inspired your brother
to take the challenge next summer.
WAY TO GO!!
