it's here ...
the boys favorite week of the summer
their week at trout lake!
we went up a little early
so that we could have lunch with drew
and some crafts and cones ;)
we had a little time to just hang around camp
and spend time with drew
then he was off to work
and we went to get the boys set up in their cabins
alex was in bobcat and had 'sea mankey' (dawson) as his counselor
ben was in redwood and had 'beats' (alex) as his counselor
and eric (who happens to live by us) as his LIT
ben went to camp with carson
and alex went with oliver
before leaving
we went down to the beach to check in on drew
and say bye.
it was so fun to see him doing his thing.
he was giving swim tests and guarding while the kids swam.
it's never easy saying goodbye
and i am SO excited for him to be back home
BUT each time i see him up here
i am so proud of what he is doing
and love that i am at least getting to see him every few weeks
they have all gotten to a place that they love trout so much
i don't think they even think twice about us leaving
in fact ...
i'm pretty sure they're too busy having fun to miss me ...
or shower ;)
