although the storm was almost 2 months ago
there were so many houses affected
AND we had to wait on getting the insurance stuff all settled
SO ...
the fixes are finally beginning
they started with our roof
there was a lot of pounding
and it looked a bit like a warzone
but it's coming along
my highlight ...
the roofers getting ice cream from the ice cream truck ;)
with all of the workers around the neighborhood
this ice cream truck is probably having a good summer ;)
when it came time to leave for florida
the roof was only about half done
BUT ...
thanks to the neighbors we got updates
and it looks like we have a finished roof!
